The PEUGEOT 407 (2004-11) is a family-sized car sold mainly as a saloon and SW estate. It sat in the large family-car market, offering more space and comfort than a small hatchback without the size of a luxury executive car. Mycarcheck recorded 7,295 look-ups across 4,021 different VINs. That sample suggests plenty of used PEUGEOT 407s remain on the market, though condition and service history matter more than headline price. The average valuation in checks is £1,200, with recorded mileage averaging 121,000 miles. Typical use is steady family and commuter travel; annual mileage averages around 7,000 miles. With its distinctive styling and comfortable road manners, the PEUGEOT 407 (2004-11) offered an alternative to rivals like the Ford Mondeo and Vauxhall Vectra. It suits families wanting a roomy, affordable used saloon or estate, and longer-distance drivers. Checks show an average of four previous keepers, so inspect records and condition carefully.
