BMW 5 SERIES (2010-13) is a large, premium executive car for UK buyers, offered mainly as a smart saloon or practical Touring estate. It sits above the 3 Series, bringing more space and comfort for longer journeys, while remaining easier to live with than a luxury limousine. It competes with cars such as the Audi A6 and Mercedes-Benz E-Class. mycarcheck.com has recorded 53,894 look-ups for this generation, covering 20,033 different VINs, giving buyers a substantial pool of used-car data to consider. Checks show an average private-sale valuation of £6,800 and average recorded mileage of 121,000 miles. The average annual distance is 8,000 miles, and cars have had nearly four previous keepers, so condition and service history can vary. It suits commuters, families and business drivers wanting comfort on regular motorway trips, with useful estate practicality in Touring form. The 5 Series is known for its rewarding drive and refined feel.
