The BMW 5 SERIES (2007-10) is a large executive saloon, with some versions available as a practical Touring estate. It sits above family-sized cars in the UK market, offering more space and comfort than a typical hatchback while remaining easier to live with than a luxury limousine. Mycarcheck.com has recorded 35,800 checks covering 13,370 distinct VINs, a substantial sample showing continuing interest in this older premium car. Often chosen for commuting, business travel and family duties, the 5 Series suits drivers wanting a comfortable long-distance car with room for passengers and luggage. Check data gives an average latest recorded mileage of 143,000 and annual use of 8,000 miles; the average is nearly five previous keepers. These figures make service history and condition especially worth checking. Known for its composed drive and upmarket cabin, it rivals the Mercedes-Benz E-Class and Audi A6, with average private-sale values around £3,000 in mycarcheck.com data.
