The RENAULT MEGANE (2002-09) 5DR HATCHBACK 1.6 VVT DYNAMIQUE AUTO REV 06 is a five-door family hatchback from Renault’s second-generation Mégane range. It sits in the UK’s popular compact-car class, offering more room and comfort than a small city car while remaining easier to park than a larger family car. Its automatic gearbox may appeal to drivers who prefer relaxed, straightforward journeys. mycarcheck.com has recorded 787 look-ups covering 368 distinct VINs, a useful pool of vehicle-interest data. Across those checks, the average private-sale valuation was £600, recorded mileage averaged 83,000 miles, and annual mileage averaged 5,000. The cars had about five previous keepers on average, so buyers should check each example’s history, condition and maintenance rather than rely on averages. It suits commuters, couples and small families needing practical space; its distinctive styling, useful boot and relaxed automatic driving offer a comfortable alternative to Focus and Astra rivals in class.
