About CDL Vehicle Information Services (mycarcheck.com, cdl.co.uk)
CDL VIS is the vehicle data arm of CDL. It offers vehicle history checking services based on DVLA data, providing over one million customer sales per year via the Mycarcheck.com and Mytextcheck brands.
By incorporating DVLA data into CDL's core products, CDL Strata, CDL Classic and online quotation modules, it speeds up the quotation process and reduces insurer and intermediary rework due to errors on policy documents.
Mycarcheck.com and the Mytextcheck SMS service are vehicle history checking services allowing customers to purchase a vehicle history check online along with an authentication certificate.
The check covers stolen cars, recorded accident damage, write-offs, scrappage, plate transfers, number of former keepers, full VIN and chassis check, make and model, engine number and size, colour and export information. It also provides access to the Motor Insurance Anti-Fraud and Theft Register (MIAFTR), Police Information Technology Organisation (PITO) and DVLA Mileage Information. In addition it can include car valuations just by entering the registration number.
