Northamptonshire County Council is considering plans to improve road safety - by translating traffic signs into Polish.

The increase in the number of drivers entering Britain from eastern European countries, particularly Poland, has prompted the council to investigate whether Polish road signs would help reduce accident rates.

Northampton is one of the biggest destinations for Eastern European workers outside London.
