Dodgy Motors on our Roads

Unbelievably 1 in 7 of all currently registered vehicles in the UK have been written off at some point in their history, many of these vehicles (also termed as a Total Loss and write off) should have been crushed but an alarming number find their way back onto our roads.

The majority of these previously accident damaged/repaired vehicles look absolutely fine, many even look better than they should due to the recent re-spray but these vehicle could disintegrate if they are involved in another collision, making them a potential life threating risk.

It is estimated that over 4 million repaired vehicles are on the roads and many of the drivers would be potentially uninsured unless they had informed their insurance company when they took out their policy, and of course the vast majority of owners are unaware that they have been sold a "dodgy" motor.

Major accident records and details of any mainland UK registered vehicle can be checked using www.mycarcheck.com, where you can access Insurance, Police and the DVLA scrapped register for less than £10.00 and the reply is instant. Customers are advised to use only companies that have a License with the DVLA and have been vetted and approved.

Worried buyers may telephone our customer services on 0870 118 1630 for free advice on various vehicle history issues.
